is that even when you are expecting
something good to happen
it costs you something.
And when you keep wanting something
that keeps evading you
if you’re not careful
it will wear you down.
To wait for something
anticipating it and it doesn’t happen
costs you more
than somebody who wants nothing.
That’s why we have so many people
who fall into the abyss
of wanting absolutely nothing because sometimes
it is easier
not to want anything
than it is to want it
and not get it.
So I say that your life is worth finding
what it is that you suppose to do
what it is that you suppose to do
and I’m not saying quit your job
I’m saying find it and do just a little bit of it
But do find out what your work is
and hold on to it and don’t let your dream go
don’t let it go!
You got to find something within
You got to find something within and
that’s got to push you
and that’s got to elevate you
and that’s got to drive you
and that’s got to move you
And you find out what your why here
when you find your why
you find a way to make it happen
how to turn nothing into something
how tangible are ideas and imagination
Ideas that become so powerful in your mind
and your consciousness they seem real to you
even before they become tangible
Imagination that is so strong that you can actually see it
You can actually see it
If somebody cannot see it
when it is not here, then it will never be here
Start looking into the future
of what you would like to accomplish
where you would like to go
the person you would like to be
Decide what you want,
and then act
as if you already had it
and that is to believe
That what you imagined is possible for you
There are two ways to be successful
and I don’t subscribe to the first one
that’s just natural talent.
I just don’t believe people who are naturally talented
are better than me.
I believe effort,
and you’ve heard me say it,
your mama might come from privilege,
Your daddy might come from privilege,
your daddy might own accompany,
you might have a father that can give you everything
your little heart desires,
but you will not outwork me.
Why? Because I realize
that the bigger the dream,
the more effort you’re gonna have to put in.
It is possible to start with nothing and become something
